The Foundation for a Sustainable Texel has undertaken various projects to inform Texelaars and tourists about Texel’s nature and environment and their conservation.

On the ferry you can find information about nature and environment on the island.

At the start of the Texel Academy, professor Brezet gave a lecture.

In addition, the Foundation also keeps the interested parties in other projects informed as much as possible. For example, on Sustainable Building, the Foundation feeds relevant information to the businesses involved and publishes a pamphlet to keep the Texelaars informed. It also make sure that the Texelaars are kept up-to-date about results of the renewable forms of energy from the Renewable Energy projects.
